On the some Wednesdays through the year we hold a club Match Night. At this night there is no training and dogs from the club are judged against each other in one of four classes where the judging is carried out by an external, but experienced judge.
This is a relaxed introduction to the hobby of dog showing and will help both you and your dog get used to the experience in familiar surroundings.
The classes are:
| Puppy Walk [1] | For dogs that are 4 – 6 months |
| Puppy | For dogs between 4 and 12 months |
| Adult | For dogs between 1 and 7 years |
| Veteran | For dog 7 years and over |
| CC Winners [2] | Dogs, which have won a Challenge Certificate or obtained any award that counts towards the title of Champion under the rules of any governing body recognised by The Kennel Club |
| Best in Match | Selected from the winner of Puppy, Adult and Veteran |
[1] At 4 months the KC now allows puppies to take part in the Match -it is the owners decision. However, if you take part in the Puppy Class, you cannot take part in the Puppy Walk.
[2] CC Winners are allowed to attend and enter the Special Class restricted to only dogs that have won a Challenge Certificate or obtained any award that counts towards the title of Champion. The winner CANNOT compete for Best in Match
